  1. We used two of the same quotes! I really like the underpaid teacher quote. My friends always ask my why would I want to chose a career with such little pay and I tell them the same reason I have been underpain in the military for 18 years, Its what I love!

  3. I have found great quotes by our past President Bill Clinton. I love "Though we are making a difference, our work has just begun." This really speaks to our field...it seems that we are on a continuous ride with education as things always change. Its so true, we make a difference in many children's lives but we must continue on.

  4. I like the quote from President Bill Clinton. It seems that even after 10 years of teaching it always feels that my work has just begun. I always feel there is so much to do and time just needs to slow down for me to accomplish it all.

  6. I was looking for the one by Raymond Hernedez, I remembered what he said, but I couldn't remember where I heard it, or what it was from.
I love the one from Bill Clinton, it is so true.
The one about "Parents can't afford to pay, teachers can't afford to stay, we have to find a better way" is very honestly true.
There are so many teachers that walk away from there passion because they just don't make enough money, yet athletes make so much more, and are often not very good "heros" for the children. Parents wish they could afford a better education for their children. I do believe that there is something that we have to do to meet in the middle so all particpating parties can have what they need.

  7. Banae,
You chose some very inspirational quotes from some people. I really love the quote by Bill Clinton; "Though we are making a difference, our work has just begun." As educators, it seems like our work is really never done.
